After working as a loan originator up until last year, I knew it was time to focus on faith, family, and others. That's when I started CBGC Mortgage. Derived from the first letter of each of my four children's names, and with the support of my amazing wife, Stacey, CBGC was created for the purpose of helping others.
At CBGC, we won't turn our back on people with low credit scores, tough circumstances, or a history of complicated issues. I want this company to support our incredible community. Beyond our sponsorship of local schools and events, the ultimate goal is to create a charitable arm of CBGC that helps aid the homeless population in St. Augustine and beyond. The wheels are in motion and I can't wait to see what the future brings!

Having a passion for the Bluegrass state Michael eventually migrated here for college then proceeded to move around the country for work in the hospitality industry. Jeremy Hodges is proud to be part of the CBGC Mortgage LLC team. Born and raised in Tennessee, he has resided in North Florida for the past 14 years, calling St. Augustine home for 12 of those. He and his wife, Samantha, have been married for almost 13 years and are the parents of three wonderful children. Jeremy is an involved member of his community, coaching baseball and football for the Villages Athletic Program, and the family is active in their church. With a background in the energy industry, Jeremy is ready to start giving back more to the community by providing hassle-free mortgages to people looking for the homes of their dreams.
Jay Kobitter

Born and raised in the Chicago area, Jay developed a strong work ethic and a focus on customer service at a young age. As a serial entrepreneur, Jay put himself through college, remodeling homes on the North Shore of Chicago. He earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and later an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
Jay spent 25 years in a variety of customer-focused executive leadership positions, leading global teams and developing optimized customer solutions. In 2015, Jay and his family relocated to St. Johns, FL and he became a licensed Realtor where he collaborated with CBGC.
In 2019, Jay relocated to the Woodlands, TX area and joined CBGC Mortgage. His passion for real estate led him to become a Mortgage Loan Officer allowing him to provide support to Realtors and help guide clients through the mortgage process. As an MLO, Jay brings an attention to detail, financial acumen, and a commitment to timely communication.
